A human being is a person* at every stage of development, including the zygote, or embryonic stage, infant, toddler, teenager, senior citizen, etc. Human beings are not now, nor have they ever been masses of tissue, animals, and in the case of severe illnesses or disabilities, vegetables. Calling human beings such things diminishes their humanity to a level that makes it acceptable to kill them at the discretion of expectant mothers, abortion providers, doctors and nurses, spouses, parents and syblings of severely ill or diabled individuals.
